Ofcom's Review of the Wholesale Local Access Market
Ofcom is currently undertaking a review of the wholesale local access market. The Regulator has recognised that competition in the local access market has been inhibited to date by BT's position of significant market power and is seeking to address this situation. The first consultation closed on 25th June 2004 and a further consultation period is due to take place in the summer. The review is due to conclude in December 2004
