Ofcom's Strategic Review of Telecommunications
Ofcom is currently undertaking a strategic review of the telecommunications industry. The Regulator has signaled that it wished to assess the state of the telecoms industry in the UK and subsequently incorporate the insight it gleans into a long term strategy for the sector. The consultation period for the first phase of the review closed on 22nd June 2004. There will be two further consultations as part of the review that will span 2004. These will take place in the Summer and Autumn with the review concluding at the end of the year
