Oftel's Review of the Wholesale Broadband Access Market - December 2003
Ofcom are currently undertaking a review of the UK wholesale broadband market following the EU requirement that Ofcom must undertake a review of all communications markets in the UK to ensure that the regulatory system remains a relevant framework for a rapidly changing sector. The review is nearing completion and Ofcom published its draft decision in December 2003. The Broadband Industry Group is continuing to play an active part in this process, submitting its final representation on 6 February. We expect Ofcom to issue its final decision by the end of March.
